Introduction
Founded in 1990, the Cornerstone Montessori Prep School (formerly Cornerstone Preparatory School) is sponsored by the Chinese Young Men's Christian Institution (CYMCI). It is registered and inspected by the Ministry of Education as a private school and is a member of the Association of Christian School International (ACSI).
As an academically accelerated school, we encourage our students to study and think beyond their own expectations. Using our eclectic approach in employing both the traditional and whole language style of teaching, we provide a strong foundational curriculum with individualized, enriched programs.
Our daily core studies are supplemented by music, French, and Mandarin classes as well as active participation in varsity sports. We specialize in daily English as a Second Language (ESL) classes for our international students.
